OFFICE SYSTEMS COORDINATOR/I.T.

Purpose:
Responsible for the management and maintenance of all computers/servers, communications and office systems.

Relationships:
Reports to the Controller.  Interacts with all staff as necessary for smooth systems operations.  Coordinates with IT consultants.

Duties Include:
—Train and troubleshoot for all staff on office equipment (computers, software, copy machines, faxes, voicemail, e-mail).
—Maintain phones (Nortel BCM450), computer hardware, software, and networking systems. Coordinate with support consultants as necessary.
—Maintain/manage general office computers and hosted e-mail systems (Google mail).
—Strategically plan and analyze computer and technology needs for the Rep in current and future years.
—Manage/maintain ticketing/donor system (Tessitura). Facilitate reporting and data integrity (MS SQL Server 2008). 
—Support all staff in a professional and cooperative manner with regards to training, maintenance, and problem solving on all computer, networking, and office issues.
—Assist with website updates and maintenance.
—Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
—Other duties as assigned by Controller.

Hours and Compensation:
Regular office hours will be 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday, weekend support when necessary.  Currently a 35 to 40 hour per week position.  Compensation is $21.64 per hour.

 Qualifications:
Proficient knowledge of Windows Server 2003 and Window Server 2008, Active Directory, DHCP and DNS, Windows 7 to XP, Microsoft Office 2010 and 2007, MS SQL 2005 and 2008, PCs, training of non-computer people. Must be a self-starter and have a desire to initiate and follow through on projects.  Excellent attitude and interpersonal skills.

COMPANY MANAGER

Annual/Full Time Position
The Company Manager reports to the Production Manager.

The Company Manager is responsible for the care and comfort of all artists involved with any production at SJRT. This includes but is not limited to; actors, directors, designers and musicians.

The Company Manager is expected to:
—Work collaboratively with SJRT staff and guest artists to achieve the highest possible standards within the available resources of personnel and budget.
—Do the best possible work within SJRT's resources.
—Follow all union regulations and actively seek to maintain federal and state standards in regards to the safety and comfort of the environments occupied by SJRT's guest artists
—In conjunction with other SJRT staff, seek to create and maintain positive relationships between SJRT and its guest artists by treating the artists with respect and compassion while faithfully representing the needs of SJRT.
—Work closely with other members of the staff to achieve the overall goals of SJRT.

Specific responsiblities include by are not limited to:
—Making all housing arrangements for all out of town artists and local artists. This includes maintaining relationships with management for SJRT’s apartments, hotels and cleaning companies as well as booking individuals into rooms.
—Make arrangements for travel for all artists. This includes booking flights, arranging for airport pick up and drop off, shipping and receiving personal items.
—Arrange parking for all artists who need it. This includes stage managers and interns and SJRT staff.
—Work with Development to create and manage trade agreements with hotels, restaurants and other organizations as appropriate.
—Manage food and other set up for per show events such as Meet & Greet, Opening Night, Closing Night, and other events as they arise.
—Manage budget for all above activities.
—Assist Production Manager, Associate Artistic Director and other staff as possible with other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications include:
—Minimum 2 years of experience in professional theatre.
—Passion for theatre and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to put the best possible product onstage.
—Strong communication skills and ability to work with a variety of personality types.
—A thorough understanding of the union agreements as they pertain to guest artists; or the demonstrated ability to learn contractual language quickly. Including, but not limited to AEA, SDC, and USA.

Part-Time Positions

Customer Service Agent

San Jose Rep is always accepting applications for a part-time position (15-30 hrs/wk) working as a customer service representative in the Box Office. Duties include: Processing ticket orders via phone, email, and fax; preparing box office for show days (printing will call…etc.); responding to patron issues; and providing the highest level of customer service. Skills and Qualifications: Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to multi-task. Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced and fun environment. Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
