Parking and Traffic

San Jose Rep is located at 101 Paseo de San Antonio in downtown San Jose between South 2nd & 3rd streets and San Carlos & San Fernando streets. There are several conveniently located parking garages and lots near the theater. There is also metered street parking. Details on garage locations and a list of participating businesses and restaurants in the validation program can be found at www.sjdowntownparking.com. (Please note: Arts and Culture institutions, including San Jose Rep, do not qualify for the validation program.)

Please remember to arrive early for performances to allow time for parking. Downtown San Jose is quite busy, particularly during the holiday season. Parking structures can fill up quickly.

City Parking Validation Changes
The City now offers free parking in the evenings after 6 pm and all day on weekends with validation.  San Jose Rep patrons entering the 2nd/San Carlos, 3rd Street, 4th/San Fernando and Market/San Pedro Square Garages after 6 pm receive free parking for the entire evening and all day on weekends with validated parking from participating businesses including restaurants.  For example, this can mean free parking for San Jose Rep patrons if they park in one of the four City garages and choose to have dinner at a participating downtown San Jose restaurant before the show. Details on garage locations and a list of participating businesses and restaurants in the validation program can be found at www.sjdowntownparking.com.
