Family & Community

San Jose Rep provides a wide range of outreach programs to meet the needs of families and our community. Our extensive offerings include: Community Nights, Ghostlight Forums, Post-Show Discussions, Senior Discounts, ASL Interpreted Performance and Backstage/Facility Tours. In addition, the Rep welcomes families to attend the theatre together, either at mainstage shows that are appropriate for all ages, or through our innovative Creative Playshop Series and our Summer Creative Dramatics Workshops.

Backstage Tours

See how the magic is created. Tours enrich appreciation and understanding of the inner workings of San Jose Repertory Theatre. Tours are led by specially trained docents who will take your group behind the scenes, visiting backstage areas and our onsite Costume Shop. Tours are available after the production, but must be arranged in advance.

Creative Summer Dramatics

Creative Dramatics for Kids is an exciting, fun-filled, two-week workshop which will awaken your imagination! Characters, stories, and whole new worlds come alive through interactive theatre games. Join us for two weeks of creativity and improvisation at this summer's Creative Dramatics Summer Workshop.
