SJREAL offers an opportunity for budding Bay Area artists to unleash their creativity during late-night, cabaret-style performances at San Jose Rep. Innovation and risk are key factors of the San Jose Rep’s Emerging Artists Lab, an open forum that strives to push the boundaries of what theatre is. SJREAL artists will develop their projects with the support of San Jose Rep through resources and mentorship. Explore theatre from the ground floor as emerging playwrights, directors, and actors delve into humanity’s lusts, hopes, and fears.
