Ron Campbell (Dimas) has performed at such theatres as the Mark Taper Forum (Ghetto, Temptation, Red Cross, The Lesson, Eh Joe); American Conservatory Theatre (The Gamester); Seattle Repertory Theatre (The Beard of Avon); the Habima Theatre, Israel
(The Thousandth Night); the Mercury Theatre, Chicago (R. Buckminster Fuller); the Old Globe; the Old Red Lion Theatre, London; California Shakespeare Theatre; (The Triumph of Love, Restoration Comedy, A Comedy of Errors, Henry IV, The Tempest, Much Ado About Nothing); San Diego Repertory Theatre (Waiting for Godot, A Tale of Two Cities, The Merchant of Venice, The Illusion, The Imaginary Invalid); Los Angeles Theatre Center and The Actor’s Gang. Mr Campbell has received the London Fringe One-Man Show of the Year Award, the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award and the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award for both Lead and Solo Performance. Catherine Castellanos (Corine) is making her San Jose Rep debut. Ms. Castellanos is an award-winning actress. She has appeared in Richard III, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Nicholas Nickleby, Othello, All’s Well That Ends Well, Henry IV, The Seagull, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream at The California Shakespeare Theater. She has worked with many stage companies throughout the Bay Area and is a company member of Campo Santo at Intersection for the Arts, San Francisco. She has collaborated on numerous world premieres at Campo Santo with such writers as Denis Johnson, Naomi Iizuka, Greg Sarris, Octavio Solis, Jimmy Santiago Baca, Ntozake Shange, Luis Saguar, Jessica Hagedorn, Junot Diaz, Vendela Vida, and Dave Eggers. Ms. Castellanos expresses gratitude and praise to her boys for their constant inspiration and generosity in sharing their mama with the theatre. For my Mom, always.
Dan Hiatt (Hermocrates) has appeared at the Rep in A Christmas Story, The Immigrant, Enchanted April, Hannah and Martin, Noises Off, A Flea in Her Ear, Cyrano, Sylvia, and Mirandolina. Other credits include Happy End, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Othello, and The Matchmaker at American Conservatory Theatre; Dinner with Friends, and Menocchio at Berkeley Rep; Nicholas Nickleby, Arms and the Man, As You Like It, Richard III, and more at California Shakespeare Theater; Spinning into Butter at Theatre-Works; and Life x 3, and The Real Thing at Marin Theatre Company. Regional theatre credits include performances at Seattle Rep, Arizona Theatre Company, The Huntington Theatre, Pasadena Playhouse, Ford’s Theatre, Studio Arena Theatre, Idaho Shakespeare Festival, and Stage West in Toronto.
Domenique Lozano (Leontine) was last seen at the Rep as Lotty in Enchanted April. She has also worked in over 15 productions at the California Shakespeare Theater, where she is an Artistic Associate; American Conservatory Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, San Jose Stage Company, the Magic Theatre, Napa Valley Repertory Theatre, and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Directing credits include: A Christmas Carol, with American Conservatory Theatre; The Countess with Center Repertory Theatre; Two for the Seesaw with the Marin Theatre Company; Inspecting Carol and Anton in Show Business with San Jose Stage Company; The Norman Conquests, Holiday, The Real Thing and She Loves Me with the Napa Valley Repertory Theatre. She has directed numerous projects with the MFA and Young Conservatory Programs at American Conservatory Theatre. She teaches throughout the Bay Area and has served as a vocal and text coach for a variety of productions.
Danny Scheie (Arlecchino) is making his San Jose Rep debut. He played Sir Novelty Fashion in Amy Freed’s Restoration Comedy at San Diego’s Old Globe and at the California Shakespeare Theater, where he also played Dr. Caius and Pistol in The Merry Wives of Windsor and Lancelot Gobbo in The Merchant of Venice. Previous credits include Berkeley Rep, Yale Rep, Trinity Rep, South Coast Rep, Pasadena Playhouse, TheatreWorks, the Magic Theatre, Theater Rhinoceros, Marin Theatre Company, Aurora Theatre, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, Center Rep, A Noise Within, as well as other theaters in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle, New York, London, and Edinburgh. Last season he directed the world premieres of The Plexiglass Slipper at Asolo Rep in Sarasota and Jessica Hagedorn’s Fe in the Desert with Campo Santo at Intersection for the Arts in San Francisco. Scheie is the former Artistic Director of Shakespeare Santa Cruz and holds a Ph.D. in Dramatic Art from U.C. Berkeley.
Stacy Ross (Leonide) was recently seen on the Rep stage in Rabbit Hole, Iphigenia at Aulis, Hannah and Martin and Major Barbara. Recently, she has appeared in Three Sisters at
Baltimore's CenterStage and Frozen at Marin Theatre Company. Other recent credits include: The Comedy of Errors and Henry IV, Parts I & II at California Shakespeare Theater, Smell of the Kill at the Playhouse, Man of Destiny at the Aurora, Arms and the Man at California Shakespeare Theater, The Rivals and The Gamester at American Conservatory Theatre and Book of Days at TheatreWorks. Ross’s regional credits include The Green Bird and Cloud Nine at Berkeley Rep; Killer Joe, Spring Storm and Candida at Marin Theatre Company; Misalliance at Baltimore's CenterStage; and As You Like It and Twelfth Night at San Francisco Shakespeare Festival.
Jud Williford (Agis) is making his San Jose Rep debut. He is currently a core company member at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco where he has been seen in The Imaginary Invalid, Happy End, The Rivals, The Time of Your Life and four seasons of A Christmas Carol as Bob Cratchit. Other regional credits include The Tempest, Nicholas Nickelby Parts One and Two and All’s Well that Ends Well at the California Shakespeare Theater; The Imaginary Invalid at the People's Light and Theater in Philadelphia; Arms and the Man, Street Scene and The Tempest at Chautauqua Theater in New York. Film credits include “Rite Time Wrong Spot” with Olympia Dukakis, and “The Tripper” directed by David Arquette. He earned his masters degree from American Conservatory Theatre.
