Ever consider leaving it all behind? Duke Senior has done just that. Forced into exile by his brother, Duke Senior has embraced the Forest of Arden as his home and left the rat race of the royal courts behind. We invite you to join us and leave it all behind too! But we digress. Back at court, the Duke’s daughter Rosalind, who was allowed to remain because of her friendship with her cousin Celia, is now perceived as a threat. Rosalind flees with Celia (BFF) and Touchstone (the clown) to seek refuge with the denizens of Arden, including Orlando, the man Rosalind loves. Disguised as a boy, Rosalind teaches Orlando how to woo—her! So grab your spouse or your BFFs and join us for the most spellbinding, contemporary interpretation of what the NY Times hails as “Shakespeare’s finest comedy.”

Sibling rivalry, royals in exile, mistaken identities, cross dressing, and love at first sight, all make an appearance in this bewitching and sophisticated comedy about freeing oneself from the shackles of technology and finding oneself in nature. The actors will be texting onstage, and you can too, during intermission and after the show!

Come dish about the show, unwind, relax and enjoy LIVE music, premium wine and the opportunity to chat about the performance you’ve just seen. Beginning September 10, you’re invited to join us after-hours in the Curtain Call Patron Lounge. On Thursday evenings join us for piano music by Nancy Gilliland and on Saturday evenings Jonathan Shue (one of the cast members from As You Like It) will be singing and playing guitar. Who knows, you may even spot more cast members throughout the evening!
