Annual Fund: Individual Support
The Rep relies on charitable support for 50% of our operating income. Without it, we simply wouldn't be here.
Your donation not only supports our award-winning stage production, it also goes toward our comprehensive education and outreach program. And remember, the Rep is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, which means your gift is fully tax-deductible as allowed by law.
We make it as easy as possible for you to make a donation.
The Gift of Cash
It's the easiest way to give and offers tax-deductible advantages in the year in which you contribute. The Rep accepts cash, checks, and credit cards. We can even set up a monthly payment plan. What could be easier?
The Gift of Appreciated Stock
Many Rep donors have discovered how easy it is to make a charitable contribution through the transfer of stock. With a simple phone call to your broker, you can support the Rep and enjoy a substantial tax benefit. If your portfolio did well this year, consider making a donation through a stock transfer. There are many other ways to give. San Jose Rep has a long list of items we need to keep our programs running. Here is just a sample of items we are seeking:
- 2 sided 10ft ladder (you can walk up both sides)
- 12ft ladder
- 6ft ladder
- AED Automatic External Defibrillator
- Carpet Extractor and or Upholstery Cleaner – for cleaning carpets in lobby and theatre
- 2 Piano Dollies for upright pianos
- Backpack Vacuum Cleaner
- 10 6ft Plastic folding tables
- Cargo Van – for props
- Passenger vehicle (sedan type preferred) for “Company Car”
- Paper/Letter folding machine
- 2 Stools with back
- 50 Poly carbonate coated Safety Glasses
- 2 Ear Plug Stations and disposable ear plugs to fill them
- 2 Respirator cleaning pads
- 2 Disposable respirator storage bags
- 1 Fire Blanket (for welding area)
- 1 Wall Mount Storage Cabinet (for safety supplies)
- 1 Counter Storage Cabinet (for safety supplies)
